Job Overview: Reliability Sales Manager
Location: Remote, US (TX)
Are you passionate about consulting customers and selling Reliability solutions. Do you have experience as a Reliability Engineer or Reliability Manager with expertise in developing and implementing reliability solutions? We are seeking a highly motivated Reliability Sales Manager to grow our Reliability solutions which consist of hardware, software, and different service offerings.
In this role you will have the opportunity to engage with multiple different customers and consult them on how to improve equipment uptime, equipment effectiveness, and develop business cases to improve overall plant performance. You will develop large-scale opportunities and work them through the sales funnel. Apply your expertise in Reliability to deliver an outstanding customer experience that drives profitable growth for Fluke Reliability.
Responsibilities
- Consult customers on how to improve plant performance
- Define and develop asset maintenance strategies
- Partner with customers to define, develop and refine a Preventative/Predictive Maintenance program
- Develop specific solutions to address customer needs and present to different stakeholders
- Get buy in from stakeholders like Reliability Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Plant Managers, IT, Finance, and others as needed to successfully get a Purchase Order
- Promote and sell Reliability solutions including hardware, software and services in the assigned territory (East Texas)
- Achieve sales quota by adding new funnel in CRM, and moving opportunities through the funnel to close.
- Partner with inside sales and other team members (marketing, engineering, management) to respond to quickly to customers, improve customer engagement, and increase share of wallet spent on FRS solutions
- Use CRM and funnel management diligence to develop monthly sales bookings and larger order forecasts
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor of Science Engineering degree – Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field of study or equivalent experience
- 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Reliability Engineer / Reliability Manager
- Experience with Condition based monitoring technologies like Vibration monitoring, Thermography, Infrared, Ultra Sound, Motor Circuit Analysis, etc
- Ability to effectively communicate with and engage employees at all levels of an organization
- Background or exposure to Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects at one time
- Track record of developing deep relationships with key decision-makers that has resulted in sustained success
Preferred
- Experience selling in Key Accounts Sales and complex selling environments.
- Manufacturing Experience preferred
- Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) desirable
- Exposure and training in Reliability practices and processes, including the following, are desirable: Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Equipment Criticality Ranking (ECR), Failure Modes, effects and analysis (FMEA), Weibull Analysis, Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Pareto Analysis
