Job Description
Position is responsible for interacting with a variety of customers to sell through returned and damaged products. Key requirement is to maximize the Sales price of product to minimize the loss Electrolux incurs when selling returned / damaged product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain relationships with National Accounts, Independent Retail and Distribution partners.
- Execute communication with all Electrolux RDC’s, coordinating the return of products and creating loads for resale.
- Responsible for monitoring and understanding the reasons behind why products are being returned and collaborating with other functions to identify solutions to reduce return volume.
- Maintain weekly inventory levels across all RDC’s while facilitating the sales of product with customers in each market aligned to the RDC.
- Work collaboratively with supply chain and product line, providing insights around damage trends at a product level to mitigate / reduce damage on future production / shipments.
- Track performance against specific financial and volume objectives.
- Create and maintain additional reporting for the sales channel.
- Provide support to ensure data integrity is maintained on internal files & consumer facing implementation including, but not limited to, pricing, imagery, promotional investments, and item set-up.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
- Solid financial analysis aptitude
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Good basic knowledge of product development processes, advertising, marketing and sales
- Proven competency in MS Office Applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Capable of setting priorities, meeting pre-determined deadlines and multi-tasking
- Basic understanding of Digital Marketing
