The Monetization Global Business Development team is responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and closing key deals with an ecosystem of ads, commerce and messaging partners that help drive revenue growth in core business. Business Development Manager, Monetization Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close key deals with an ecosystem of ads and commerce partners that help drive revenue growth in core business
Demonstrate fluency in the most complex legal and business issues in contracts and develop creative win-win solutions with our partners
Be agile and execute across a broad range of products including mobile, video, ads, big data, platforms, commerce and growth
Analyze markets and synthesize recommendations into actionable partnerships plans
Lead cross-functional internal alignment to drive decision making in the deal process
Collaborate with a broad range of internal constituents to help define go-to-market strategy and drive sign-off from internal leadership
Represent Meta in meetings with executives from our partner companies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or other related fields
8+ years experience in partnerships, business development, or related field in an internet or technology startup environment
Experience analyzing data and deriving actionable business insights. Experience distilling information and insights into effective presentations for senior leadership
Experience closing strategic software, services, data and licensing deals
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing senior leadership escalations/briefings on complex partner related issues
Experience learning new technologies and distilling information into actionable insights for internal stakeholders
Familiarity/Knowledge with advertising or e-commerce platforms businesses, landscape and challenges/opportunities of the ecosystem
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams such as Product, Legal, Engineering, Partnerships, Sales and Marketing
Proven track record doing deals, including comfort with the legal aspects of negotiations
