What You’ll Do:
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Lead industry strategy by developing deep vertical knowledge to build and maintain strong relationships with top client executives
Develop both the long term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations. Be accountable for increasing sales revenue, new client acquisition and existing account growth.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
Be flexible to align the sales approach with the company’s evolving business strategy and needs and effectively lead the team to navigate changes with resilience and focus.
Sales Leadership:
Navigate the market landscape to identify opportunities and challenges, set up comprehensive sales strategies and goals aligned with organizational goals and market trends and lead the team to deliver the goals.
Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Coach, mentor and guide the team in developing deep consultative and solution-based sales skills including: pipeline management, online sales and in-person pitches to C-level executives.
Strong change management skills, including effective communication and the ability to guide the team through transitions with resilience and focus.
Inspire, motivate and enable individual development to promote career growth of direct reports.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and propose tailored solutions.
Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
Revenue Generation:
Drive the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate untapped markets.
Negotiate and close high-value deals with key clients.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide insights and feedback on market trends and customer needs.
Effectively work cross-functionally across the organization to shape the product to meet client needs
Who You Are:
BA/BSc degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant experience).
12+ years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
6+ years of sales team management experience
C-level relationships across Industry
Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals w/ a strong track record
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills in both English for internal communications and Mandarin which is required for communicating with clients from the Greater China region.
Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
Willingness to travel
