Head of US Sales

As Head of US Sales you will be tasked with building on the successes within the US and building a professional sales organization that drives rapid new customer and ARR growth. You will be expected to lead, inspire, mentor and coach your team to be the best they can be and work with the Chief Revenue Officer to maximize on the opportunity within the region.
Your role is crucial in ensuring that Phrase continues to expand its presence and influence in the US market. By leading with passion, strategy, and a focus on team development, you'll help drive our mission forward
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Customer Acquisition and Revenue Generation - Drive and lead efforts to achieve our revenue and new business targets in the US region.
- Team Guidance: Provide daily guidance and support to ensure team members are clear on their responsibilities and excel in their roles.
- Sales Team Leadership: Build and lead a sales team that's not only high-performing but also fun, engaged, and caring.
- Market Engagement: Educate the US market on how the Phrase platform can streamline their processes and enhance efficiency.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Continuously develop and refine our go-to-market strategy for the US region.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning: Create and manage processes for sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting.
- Executive Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor at the executive level.
- Internal Collaboration: Forge strong relationships with senior colleagues across Phrase to achieve shared goals.
- GTM Strategy Contribution: Actively contribute to Phrase´s go-to-market strategy and support the organization’s rapid growth.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee all aspects of sales pipeline growth and identify potential obstacles.
- Empowering Team Culture: Foster a culture of high performance, inclusivity, connection and collaboration within your team.
- Vision Development: Develop and execute a compelling vision for the US Sales team.
- Talent Recruitment & Development: Attract and develop top-tier talent to build a high-performing team.
What you need:
- Proven success exceeding expectations in hitting revenue targets within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment at a B2B SaaS company- ideally localization focussed
- 7-10 years experience in sales, with 3+ years in a sales leadership role
- Proven success with high growth sales teams
- Experience in mid-market and enterprise SaaS selling annual contract sizes from €50K - €500k+
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
- Naturally curious and innovative mindset who enjoys solving problems
- Understands and embraces the pressures of growing a business rapidly
- Ability to set a clear vision and execute on a strategy as well as roll up your sleeves to get into the details
