The Sales Strategy Sr. Advisor will support the North America Sales organization in the development and execution of the sales strategy for the Retail and Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics (MT&L) sales verticals. This role will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations to ensure the Retail and MT&L Sales team pursues the right markets with the right offerings in the most efficient way possible.
Qualified applicants must reside in the US, preferably in the central or eastern states. ~ 10% travel to be expected.
Responsibilities:- Lead the Retail and Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics (MT&L) Sales go-to-market strategy process that includes deliverables such as:
- Strategic go-to-market plan for both the short-term (current year) and long-term (three year)
- Go-to-market strategies for potential new offerings and/or new sub-vertical pursuits
- In partnership with Marketing, identification of sales enablement, collateral & marketing campaigns to drive pipeline
- Uses business acumen to look beyond the data to generate recommendations to complex problems to review directly with business stakeholders.
- Makes senior level recommendations by investigating, researching, and analyzing data for new business growth opportunities
- Communicate status on improvement initiatives to various levels within the organization
- Collaborate with marketing, training, finance, sales operations, and sales leads to improve information for decision making and analysis
- Ability to interface and partner with a variety of groups supporting the sales efforts
- Generate and drive improvements to the overall Retail and MT&L go-to-market plan
- May mentor junior level analysts in technical and organizational effectiveness
Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics/Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 12 + years of applicable experience in customer go-to-market strategy, sales strategy or strategic marketing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must reside in the US, preferably in the central or eastern states. ~ 10% travel to be expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to the Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics (MT&L) and Retail verticals
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Tableau, and Microsoft PowerBI are an added plus
- A self-starter with passion for collaboration and problem-solving
- Ability and desire to learn new tools quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary: USD 117700.00 - USD 176500.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
