Your Day-To-Day
Achieve assigned revenue target by selling PTC’s Onshape to global manufacturers
Work with your dedicated business development rep to prospect and build new pipeline
Build high-level Executive relationships at target accounts in order to help build the trust and sponsorship needed to move sales cycles forward and to closure.
Use cross-functional team resources (sales, presales specialists, product development, and global services) to drive deals to close
Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating through close
Competent in the ability to create account plans, forecast and assess revenue opportunities
Manage complex sales cycle that includes numerous different stakeholders
Responsibilities:
Rapidly learn the industry and Onshape’s unique differentiators
Understand the business impact of Onshape solutions that benefit a target company and are the most impactful as well as articulate the business value to all levels of various roles in the organization – from end user to executive.
Utilize SalesForce.com for lead management, sales forecasting, and recording of key sales activities.
Successfully collaborate with the appropriate internal and external resources needed in order to execute sales cycles.
Manage the new business sales cycle from initial call through to contract negotiation and execution.
Work with an assigned Outbound Business Development Rep to identify target companies to approach for new business sales cycles as well as assist with their execution of email and call campaigns.
Meet quarterly sales quotas.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Self-starter, results-driven, motivated, creative and resourceful
7+ years of closing experience, preferably in a solution-selling environment
Consistent, successful Enterprise Sales Experience, preferably with cloud applications
Excellent written and verbal skills to ensure professional communication to internal and external contacts
Able to learn technical product information and articulate the value of the solutions for a customer and the positive business impact to them.
Able to work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver results on customer's behalf
Skills and knowledge most helpful to the job:
Knowledge in design engineering, new product development, and operational functions within innovative product companies
Able to work in a team and be goals-driven
Fluent in English
