PTC, a global provider of CAD, PLM, IoT and AR solutions, is looking for a Boston based Mid-Market Account Executive to join our market leading, Cloud-Native, Arena PLM solution team. Today, we are a global team of more than 6,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow – all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible. In this role you will be building on an established market in North America for Arena PLM with the objective of harnessing the growing business for the solution.
As part of your job at PTC, you will:
- Support the expansion of the Arena business into the Electronics High Tech segments in the Eastern US.
- Achieve assigned revenue target by selling Arena’s line of solutions and services to mid-market leaders and grow the new business sales.
- Build executive relationships at target accounts - building the trust & sponsorship needed to move sales cycles forward to closure.
- Provide sales strategy to cross-functional sales team resources (sales, presales specialists, product development, and global services)
- Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives, building a competitive value proposition, and negotiating through close & execution.
- Deliver the value proposition for Arena PLM effectively - articulating benefits and ROI.
- Work with an assigned outbound business development rep to identify target companies to approach for new business sales cycles as well as assisting with their execution of email and call campaigns.
- Utilize SalesForce.com for lead management, sales forecasting, and recording of key sales activities.
- Meet quarterly new business sales quotas.
Requirements:
- Located in the Boston, MA Area (Hybrid)
- Proven success and experience selling into the Electronics/High Tech industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience or apprentice training.
- Self-starter, results driven, motivated, creative, and resourceful.
- Consistent, successful SaaS Application Sales Experience.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to ensure professional communication to internal and external contacts.
- Able to learn technical product information and articulate the value of the solutions for a customer and the positive business impact to them.
- Able to work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver results on customer's behalf
- Able to work in a team and goals driven
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge in design engineering, new product development, operational functions within innovative product companies
