Inside Sales Account Executive- Digital Thread
Boston, MA- Hybrid
PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individuals to join our North American Inside Sales organization where you will have the opportunity to work with the acknowledged leader in the incredibly dynamic Internet of Things (IoT), AR, CAD & PLM space. Our current customer base includes a growing number of companies in a range of industries. This position/opening is seated to be a promotional backfill and anticipated to be backfilled in the near future.
Day-To-Day:
- Achieve assigned revenue target by selling PTC’s line of solutions and services to global leaders in the industrial and commercial products space
- Provide leadership to a cross-functional account team (sales, presales specialists, global services)
- Significantly extend the existing strategic relationship with customers/prospects
- Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating through close.
- Competent in the ability to forecast and assess revenue opportunities
- Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients
- Build high level executive/SVP relationship sales long term partnership
Skills and Knowledge most relevant to the job:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via email and phone/video call, customer service mindset is a must!
- Proven ability to work on a team as well as individually - comfortable asking questions and receiving feedback
- Highly motivated to exceed expectations while working in a fast paced environment
- Experience with sales methodologies such as Command of the Message or MEDDIC a plus
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years sales experience with history of exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work in Boston office 3 days/week
