Prime Responsibilities and Major Factors in Evaluating Performance:1.Serves as point of contact for customers in matters concerning new and repeat business, working in conjunction with field and internal sales teams.
2.Responsible for orders and pricing new and repeat orders for assigned territories, within established guidelines.
3.Provides technical information to customers regarding the investment casting process and job status.
4.Administers and initiates action on new business quotes and production requotes for assigned territories based on predetermined guidelines.
5.Acts as primary contact for the operation, assisting the Corporate Credit Department with the customer when credit or payment issues arise, negotiating acceptable resolution with customer.
Additional Responsibilities:1.Obtains sample approval from the customer for dies and die changes.
2.Prepares information for management review meeting relating to lost, won, and potential jobs.
3.Negotiates delivery dates with manufacturing personnel and customers on production orders.
4.Communicates potential problems or developments with customers to appropriate members of management.
5.Coordinates with sales team to prepare for customer visits to our facility.
6.Monitors accuracy and time-effectiveness of sales-related clerical functions including order entry, tooling requests, credit & invoice requests, etc.
7.Ensures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with the Company's Code of Conduct.
8.Will be required to travel periodically to customer locations, etc.
9.Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:1. Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of experience in customer service; or an Associates degree in an appropriate curriculum with 5-7 years of relevant experience. Other combinations of 3-10 years of sales & technical experience will be considered if necessary.
2. Must possess strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills while being highly professional and having the ability to develop trust in business relationships
3. Must be able to learn the technical aspects of the investment casting business within six (6) months of start date with a strong willingness to be coached and mentored.
4. Must have the ability to read blueprints.
5. Candidate must be proficient in computer operation, with a good working knowledge of MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
