Sr.
Account Manager Position covering a set of Mid Market Transportation accounts in the Americas region. This is a remote position, ideally within the vicinity of a major airport along the east coast or Midwest USA on the account of expectations for regular travel to visit customers.
This opening is a high-impact opportunity to further develop mid-market accounts within our Transportation sector and enable continued success and growth in NI's overall Transportation Strategy.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing and executing a Territory Growth Plan in partnership with key stakeholders. (Field Applications Engineering where applicable, Business Development Managers, Transportation Business Unit, etc.)
A successful candidate for this role is someone who will: - Be motivated and energized by the pursuits of new business, new relationships, and a general curiosity for connecting across a variety of stakeholders to expand reach.
- Develop and implement a demand generation, prospecting/hunter plan to pursue new growth areas within underserved or emerging accounts under your purview.
- Develop and execute creative, winning strategies and account plans and objectives that consistently deliver exceptional account growth.
- Optimize co-selling motions across the full ecosystem of resources to achieve scale and maximize value across a broad set of Transportation customers.
- Take ownership and foster mutual collaboration - both internally and externally.
- Drives personal and account team growth through accurately identifying and leveraging NI's strengths to create compelling visions that drive action with internal and external decision makers to deliver to customer's strategic initiatives.
- Expand horizons through identifying, developing, and maintaining influential Sr Level relationships within the accounts in your portfolio.
- Grow influence and creditability within customers and NI through leading a coordinated strategy and company-wide execution to ensure NI and customer success.
- Proactively build strategies in partnership with the NI Transportation Business Unit team and Partners to maximize serviceable account opportunities and increase market penetration.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, grow, provide feedback, and persist through connected and meaningful work.
QualificationsThe candidate will typically have 4+ years of successful Account Management experience working with technical audiences to solve challenges in Test, Simulation and/or Analytics. This candidate should have a track-record of exceeding sales goals and achieving objectives.
Basic Requirements - Bachelor's degree with a major in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science; or Business Degree with relevant technical/technology experience.
