Account Manager | United States | US2048260We are looking for an Account Manager to handle nurturing and strengthening the relationship with our valued client, developing and implementing strategic plans to accommodate goals, and ensuring our customer receives accurate and prompt status information or changes. YOUR ROLEYou will be the single point of onsite contact for our customer to develop and maintain a strong relationship and to address their needs and concerns as quickly as possible. We will count on your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills-and your high degree of initiative and business acumen-to ensure exceptional performance. Reporting directly to the TITLE, your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Listen to our client's needs, liaise between our client and internal stakeholders to maintain clear communication channels, and find solutions for achieving objectives that mutually benefit our customer's and company's goals
- Manage a pre-defined KPI dashboard and share it monthly with our client and applicable internal leaders/operations
- Prepare and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other meetings with operational and customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to review with our client
- Collaborate with quality leaders to drive QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment) and ensure compliance with customer, company, and regulatory quality requirements
- Travel occasionally to meet and align with customer needs
- When not working directly with our client, you will spend considerable time on the warehouse floor communicating with site associates, leaders, and key customer contacts
- Other responsibilities as needed and assigned to ensure account management success
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES- 5+ years of experience in a distribution or warehousing environment; 3PL/contract logistics is a plus
- 5+ years of experience managing a customer relationship as the business representative with whom the client primarily interacts
- Knowledge of various production systems or methodologies such as ISO, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite (advanced Excel)
- A degree in International Business, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field is a plus
- Experience in a pharmaceutical distribution center is preferred
