ORE Designs, an industry leader in landscape architectural design and manufacturing, is in search of a dynamic Sales Business Developer. In this pivotal role, you will guide our customers seamlessly through the entire process, ensuring success from inception to completion. Collaborating closely with ORE project managers, you'll facilitate a smooth transition of booked projects to the next phase. Expect occasional travel (minimum quarterly) within the assigned territory to showcase ORE's innovative products and solutions to diverse audiences, including landscape architects, installers, and general contractors. Your mission: to enhance the value of ORE's product offerings and drive sales opportunities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, excels in strategic customer follow-up, and possesses a keen thirst for knowledge. This role thrives in a collaborative team environment, requiring individuals to contribute cross-functionally and bring added value. Proficiency in handling technical conversations and articulating complex solutions to customers is a must. Previous work experience in the architectural or building industry is considered a valuable asset.

Qualifications & Skill
- BA or BS or an equivalent combination of experience or training.
- 3-5+ years' sales experience.
- Strong preference given to individuals with knowledge of architects, contractors, and suppliers in the landscape architectural industry.
- Excellent communication skills and very well spoken.
- Very organized with attention to detail.
- Solid proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and computer programs. CRM experience is required. Understanding of an ERP, such as NetSuite is a plus.
- Expert negotiation skills with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct sales calls to gather project details for estimating purposes.
- Interface with customers to determine their requirements.
- Assist with and coordinate between the Sales Department and other sales related entities.
- Regular, timely, and predictable on-site attendance is required for this position.
- Work with team to put together quotes and communicate with customers.
- Negotiate quotes and close deals.
- Maintain positive working relationships.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Pay & Schedule
- $65,000 annual base pay + uncapped commission.
- Full-Time: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
- This position is in office, regular remote work is not available.
- Hours may vary slightly depending on business needs and demands.
