Description
Role Summary:The Key Account Manager plays a critical role in our sales department, focusing on developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and field teams. This outside sales position is essential for orchestrating sales initiatives, implementing pricing strategies, and attracting prospective customers to enhance sales growth. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will offer guidance to team members in areas needing specialized support.
Key Responsibilities:- Relationship Management: Build and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers and field teams. Serve as the main point of contact for accounts, understanding their requirements, and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
- Sales Coordination: Lead sales efforts ensuring a unified and effective approach. Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as Customer Service, Supply Chain and Management to align sales and inventory strategies with client needs.
- Pricing Strategy: Formulate and execute pricing strategies for accounts. Manage contract negotiations and terms to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Program Implementation: Develop and implement programs tailored to key accounts, with the goal of motivating sales growth.
- Local Sales Support Direction: Provide direction and support to Customer Service, Supply Chain and Management ensuring alignment with broader sales strategies and effectiveness in addressing local market demands.
- Reporting and Analysis: Consistently report on sales progress and market trends. Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas needing improvement.
Requirements:- Demonstrated experience in an outside sales role, with a focus on key account management.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in analyzing market trends and sales data for strategic planning.
- Skilled in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients and field teams as necessary.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS - Strong communication and selling skills.
- Must be self-motivated and action oriented.
- Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel for extended periods.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years sales experience or relevant university degree / diploma.
- Background in Pest Management is considered a valuable asset.
- A Pest Management applicator license is considered a valuable asset.
