The Supply Chain Engineer - Material Handling Equipment Solutions is responsible for research, business justification, design, piloting, and implementation of MHE solutions for the DC omni-channel network and Asset Recovery network. You will conduct a detailed ROI analysis to justify multi-site solutions. This position will collaborate with Project Management, Operations Excellence, Facilities, Operations, Procurement, and Safety to develop project and pilot plans for new technology, and equipment solutions to drive improved efficiency, safety, and "Great Place to Work" initiatives for the network. You will present to senior leadership for approval and provide updates. Must be able to influence senior leadership. Provide technical support and advice working in close partnership with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Facilities, Planning, Operations Excellence, Procurement, Project Management, and external vendors/contractors.
Duties and Responsibilities- Support the efficient growth of the distribution network by increasing the capacity of current and future distribution centers and asset recovery centers through the application of optimized processes, equipment, and technologies
- Analyze existing operations to determine processing and storage capacities and maintain capacity and drawing files
- Conduct and lead technology/equipment discovery, piloting, and implementation
- Assist in the evaluation and design of new distribution center and asset recovery center operational processes, layout, material handling, and other systems, including estimates of returns on invested capital and development of business cases for approval
- Apply appropriate contemporary problem-solving tools to provide rapid improvement with sustainable results
- Validate progress and completion milestones
- Apply Lean methods for structured problem-solving
- Lead efforts to drive collaboration across the entire supply chain and corporate partners.

RequirementsEducation and Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Formal training in AutoCAD
- Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Management a plus, but not required
Years of Experience- 3+ years of experience in a high volume distribution environment preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of material handling technology, systems, and equipment.
- DC operations experience is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $98,900 - $148,300 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
