Business Development and Proposal Intern for Summer 2024 to support our fast-growing Headquarters office located in Dumfries, VA. Location: AMSG Corporate Office (3800 Fettler Park Drive, Suite 201) Dumfries, VA & Remote.
Hours: Up to 30 hours a week.
Education: Current 3rd or 4th year college student majoring in Business or a related field.
General Description: AMSG is seeking a Business Development and Proposal Support Intern. This professional will assist in AMSG's business development efforts. The Intern will be responsible for completing clerical and administrative duties, conducting market research, creating reports derived from various public and private sites, and other prescribed duties.
Proposal Development Responsibilities:- Provide SharePoint assistance.
- Provide support to the proposal department in formatting, creation of tables and graphics, acronym checks, tech editing, and compliance checks.
- Generate compliance matrices.
- Assist with Past Performance Volumes and Questionnaires.
- Assist with maintenance of SharePoint Proposal Writing Library.
Business Development Responsibilities:- Responsible for monitoring and researching Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases including GovWin, SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, Seaport-e, FedConnect, ARC, and AMSG Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) portals for pending release of potential Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Responsible for providing capture research to Proposal Managers to include the use of the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS).
- Capturing meeting minutes in Salesforce.
Qualifications:- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
