The CBO Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for:
- Directing the day to day management of functions to include managing, planning, and overseeing all BayCare Hospitals, BayCare Outreach, BayCare Imaging Centers, BayCare Medical Group and BayCare Urgent Care Centers collections and accounts receivables processes.
- The Manager works to ensure accounts receivables are worked timely and effectively to maximize the cash flow.
- The CBO Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible in maintaining high levels of quality, technology, and customer satisfaction while maximizing reimbursement.
- The Manager is responsible for the collections, denials and credit balances for all business lines.
- The Manager develops and reviews policies and procedures and department goals and objectives.
- The Manager is also responsible for organizing data into useful information and strategic and operational decision making purposes, directing and implementing system-wide projects as directed.
Required specific skills include:
- Knowledge of billing and collection practices, compliance and billing of all business lines and systems used for those business lines to manager accounts receivables.
- The Manager is also responsible for conducting team member education, training, and work process development to ensure high level accuracy.
- The Manager will maintain the accounts receivable within the area of responsibility and keep Leadership informed of issues, trends, and all developments that could impact A/R.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- Required - 3 years - Supervisory Role in a related field;
- And - 5 years - Collections; Or - 5 years - Accounts Receivable;
- Or - 5 years - Patient Financial Services experience is acceptable in lieu of Collections or A/R experience
Required Education:
- Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Bachelors - Related Field
- Required - High School or Equivalent; Preferred - Bachelors - Related Field
Preferred Credentials:
- AAHAM Cert Patient Account Manager
- Preferred - CPAM (Patient Accounts)
