We are seeking an
Accounts Payable Manager to join our team and support our Accounting Department and Project Management team to a prestigious high-end residential and commercial construction company. The ideal candidate must have experience with AP at a construction or engineering company and experience with
Sage (TimberScan/Timberline) software.
Responsibilities: - Process all incoming invoices for accuracy, obtain project manager approval, and enter data into Timberline.
- Prepare weekly payables for Project Managers.
- Print monthly reports for billing review by Project Managers.
- Process monthly invoicing once billing forms are completed by Project Managers.
- Prepare and distribute all monthly reports to Project Managers and the CFO.
Qualifications/Skills: - Experience working with a construction or engineering company.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of project contracts, invoices, and change order documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Sage, TimberScan/Timberline preferred.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion.
