Account Executive for our
TextileProducts in the Southeast region
ABOUT THE JOBThe Account Executive will be responsible for the management of existing customer relationships, prospecting new business opportunities, and client retention at companies involved in the Imprinted Sportswear and Decorated Apparel Market Segment. Works in conjunction with appropriate SourceOne Personnel, and with Representatives of SourceOne's Supplier partners to proactively target and identify opportunities to increase sales of equipment, inks, and supplies distributed by Nazdar SourceOne. Collaborates with Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies that demonstrate the features and benefits of the products supplied by Nazdar SourceOne to achieve increased sales and profitability.
- Travels throughout assigned territory in a Company provided automobile or other mode of transportation when necessary, to call on existing customers and to prospect new business opportunities to increase sales of equipment, inks and supplies distributed by Nazdar SourceOne.
- Establishes customer contact plans to includes scheduled onsite visits, supported by telephone and email communication to facilitate Nazdar SourceOne interaction, and business development activities at all levels of assigned accounts.
- Designs and implements sales strategies which includes conducting an analysis of target accounts to discover customer requirements, and to identify the decision-makers of each organization for the purpose of securing new business opportunities.
- Develops an advanced sales call plan, with planned pre-arranged appointments at existing and prospective customers to optimize time in the field, to present value added product and service solutions.
- Actively prospects new customer and business development opportunities in the assigned sales territory to increase sales of equipment, inks and supplies represented by Nazdar SourceOne.
- Responsible for follow-up on leads generated by, but not limited to, business development activity, trade shows, internet inquiries, vendor partners.
- Utilizes Nazdar SourceOne CRM System to enter customer data, and other sales activity, and new business development opportunities at existing customers and targeted prospects.
- Displays or demonstrates equipment, ink and supplies to customers and targeted prospects, emphasizing salable features relevant to the customer's needs.
- Resolves or develops a plan to remedy customer technical problems which may include partnering with appropriate SourceOne Personnel, or with Representatives of SourceOne's Supplier partners.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts, working with Regional Sales Management and Sales Coordinators as well as Nazdar Accounting as may be required per the credit matrix guidelines.
- Works with SourceOne Operations and Customer Service to investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
- Collaborates with appropriate SourceOne Personnel, or with Representatives of SourceOne's Supplier partners to coordinate/provide customer training.
- Maintains records for all business expenses and submits expense reports on a timely basis.
- Attends training seminars and trade shows, with approval of supervisor.
- Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
Qualifications and Skills required include:- Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in printing or graphics, preferred.
- Previous experience with customer relationship development and proven sales growth preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in the Imprinted Sportswear/Decorated Apparel Industry preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
