This role will focus on:- You will manage and grow selected Tier 1 Strategic Accounts in accordance with the company Framework and strategy, with overall account plan ownership and matrix P&L responsibility.
- You will develop and implement annual strategic plans and build existing account business, targeting their wider portfolio and target market segments/end customers with the goal of sustaining a pipeline of profitable orders and sales growth whilst managing end to end gross contribution.
- You will be the recognized company expert in market sector emerging trends, customer M&A activity, competition that impact the competitive advantage of the company and portfolio within your designated Strategic Accounts.
- You will lead strategic accounts teams to deliver market leading service support across the Commercial, Quality, Technical, Supply and Sustainability Operational Value Chains (OVC's), ensuring compliance to regulations to meet customer expectation.
- You will develop and implement operational Sales action plans through Strategic Accounts Management (SAM) team collaboration ensuring Sales Engineer effectiveness through SAM team support and commercial competitiveness against competition.
- You will maintain a regular cadence of SAM team meetings and accurate Opportunities pipeline reporting ensuring Sales Engineers proactively manage the sales cycle through collaborative SAM team support.
- You will conduct quarterly account business reviews with key customer stakeholders to evaluate our performance and identify areas for improvement.
- You will own the Strategic Account Orders, Sales and forecasts within agreed reporting templates at Plan, and monthly orders and sales forecasting/actuals reports assisted by Financial Controllers.
- You will lead annual Strategic Account pricing strategy and price negotiations to sustain end-to-end account gross contribution ensuring internal local Sales and Supply operation management align to gross contribution apportioning.
- You will oversee generation of commercial framework (MSA) contracts aligning Sales, Supply and Group Legal.
- You will build and sustain a network of customer upper management decision making personas to leverage Total Customer Solutions through understanding of customer needs and aligning Customer Value propositions (CVPs).
- You will build long-term relationships with key strategic procurement teams, leveraging award of contracts, positive price and contracts negotiation outcomes and commercial contract framework agreements to de-risk the business.
- You will attend industry networking events when yearly travel budgets allow.
To be successful in this role, youwill need:- Strong knowledge of processes within the Biopharmaceutical sector.
- Significant commercial management and Sales experience including Key Account or Large Customer management experience of large complex, global or multi-regional accounts.
- Contract reviews/negotiation experience and awareness of contractual principles and risks.
- Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
- Leadership or self-motivation skills, having demonstrated initiative in taking ownership in execution of appointed duties/responsibilities.
- Cultural and regional awareness with the ability to work across countries and cultures.
