Role and Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers, managing inbound phone calls and emails
- Assist with prospecting for new customers to build a successful sales pipeline
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships and trust with customers through accurate, proactive, and engaged communication
- Provide prompt and accurate quotes for transportation requests, including but not limited to managing assigned bid boards, responding with competitive bids to capitalize on the opportunities presented
- Proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities to gain additional market share and become the carrier of choice
- Ensure orders and transportation requests are entered accurately and maintain timely communication with customers on order status
- Handle customer escalations as needed, in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution and communication
- Keep records of customer and prospect interactions, and accurately utilize a CRM tool for pipeline and opportunity management
- Maintain regular engagement with internal stakeholders to ensure Auto Driveaway is meeting customer needs and expectations
- Keep up to date on industry trends and competitive intelligence
- Grow Auto Driveaway's reputation as the driveaway company of choice across the United States
Qualifications and Education Requirements- College degree required
- 3+ years of sales and customer relationship management experience, including a track record of growth and success in new business generation
- Strong background in transportation, logistics or related fields preferred
- Proven customer service/customer support experience
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Track record of achieving sales goals and driving customer retention
- High energy, enthusiasm and drive for achieving results
- Passionate about safety and customer experience
- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment, recognizing a sense of urgency and self-motivation
