Description
Job Summary:creative werks partners with Top 100 brands to bring their products to market through our design, co-packing, manufacturing, and supply chain services in a customer focused problem-solving mindset. The Director of Sales, Business Development is directly responsible for driving client revenue, relationships, and their programs' successes by forging new business opportunities, investing in untapped markets, and cultivating organic growth at all levels. This role will report directly into the VP of Sales.
Responsibilities of the Position:- Responsible for generating multi-million dollars in annual new business signings
- Build foundational understanding of creative werks' capabilities and problem-solving mindset to be able to speak and educate clients to grow business and let creative werks solve their problems
- Lead all aspects of new business execution by identifying and prioritizing sales targets, meeting with prospects, solutions development, deal structuring, negotiating terms and closing contracts
- Develop comprehensive sales opportunities in the CPG sector that meets business metrics, annual budgets, and strategic growth targets
- Leverage CRM to track deal progress as well as Sales Navigator and trade organization connections to seek-out key decision-makers with assigned account base
- Participate and advocate for client with Legal on client contract negotiations, working to get the best terms for creative werks while continuing to best serve the client
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Sales Leadership to provide competitive and strategic pricing to win business
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:- Ambitious, driven, and enthusiastic about Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
- Entrepreneurial, passionate, hunter mentality, and outgoing spirit with an appetite to problem solve, grow and support new business, and improve the process
- Self-starter, persistent, and comfortable working autonomously and with teams to move business and projects forward
- Exceptional written and verbal skills - able to articulate creative werks' objectives, capabilities, and competitive advantage to nurture and cultivate strong relationships with the prospective clients and clients
- Sound presentation skills - comfortable presenting in-person or virtually as needed .
- Proficient in CRMs (HubSpot preferred), Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Education and Experience:- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Sales or related discipline; Master's degree a plus
- 10+ years of proven experience with demonstrated full-cycle successes in sales from prospecting to contract in-hand to growing partnership capabilities
- Background in food and beverage CPG vertical and/or manufacturing a plus, but not required
Working Conditions:- Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 - 80 degrees
- Travel required ~40% as needed
