We are looking for a
full-time Account Manager to preferably work out of our Irving
, TX Corporate Office.Job Summary- Account ManagerThe Account Manager will prospect new clients for national business opportunities while maintaining a business relationship with existing clients to encourage repeat business. They will be responsible for providing estimated budgets that support the client's vision while maintaining a profitability threshold of 45% for each event while working to reach the annual revenue performance goals established by INSPIRE.
Summary of essential job functions- Account Manager - Contact national sales lead sources to include, but not limited to:
- Convention and Visitors Bureau's calendar
- Internet searches
- Invoicing
- Monitor in-market client lists to ensure information is kept up to date
- Operate seamlessly with both Sales and Operations
- Demonstrate evidence of organization and accountability in position
- Uphold excellent customer sales and service skills under pressure
- Articulate in communicating ideas, concepts, and directions clearly and concisely
- Maintain grooming to company standards and to the standards of our clients
- Maintain excellence in customer service, organization, and problem-solving
- Establish credit accounts for events invoicing over $10,000
- Work with Accounts Receivable on invoicing
- Create Credit Memos when appropriate
- Complete a Job Cost on all events invoicing over $5,000 pre-tax
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements - A College Degree is preferred but will consider equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a sales capacity in the AV, event, hotel, or related field
Skills and Specifications - Experience in telemarketing sales a plus
- Experience in strategic sales account management
- Shows potential in creative and financial skills necessary for career advancement
