Solutions EngineerPayTrace- RemoteWhat you'll be doing:- Leads technical discussions and becomes a trusted advisor to clients.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on PayTrace's API/Integration products to internal and external stakeholders
- Seeks to understand ISV Partner needs, challenges, and possible solutions.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with prospects during the sales process across many different cycles simultaneously
- Masterfully articulate technology and product value to a business and technical audience
- Assists members of Business Development, Operations, and Channel Partners with prospecting, discovery calls, demos, proof of concepts and working toward a technical close.
- Delivers product presentations and demonstrations tailored to our partner's requirements and tuned to suit the level and nature of the audience
- Provides API technical support and guidance for developers and integrators pre-implementation and during implementation.
- Works with Developer Support team pre-implementation, during implementation, and post-implementation to allow customers to receive 5-Star support.
- Support Business Development team members to deliver on sales and support targets
- Participates in management of current relationships to ensure they're performing at the highest level possible.
- Provides training and education on the PayTrace value proposition and pitch. Exhibits expertise in talking with clients about how we help them succeed.
- Act as cross functional team representative; gathering and disseminating information about the integration process, helping identify bottlenecks and choke points.
- Work with the Operations, Business Development, and IT teams to improve the integration process, documentation and best practices.
- Create technical content (sample code, demos, etc.) to show API Consumers how to implement specific use cases or best practices.
- Own the discovery and qualification of PayTrace's technical compatibility with prospects and provide consultative guidance on a technical strategy to integrate.
What we need from you:- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
- Previous experience (3+ years) as a technical consultant or partner/sales engineer
- 1-2+ years of payments industry experience at the Processor level is preferred.
- Understanding the web technology stack and experience working with: JSON, RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Curl, relational databases, modern web technology, modern programming languages/frameworks (PHP, Ruby, Python, Java)
- Experience selling to and/or supporting Small and Medium-Sized businesses (SMB) and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME).
- Customer focused by understanding the customer's business objectives and meeting or exceeding customer expectations for service.
- Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
