Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Architect in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You'll DoManage information technology project including software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients. Lead information technology project including aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

RequirementsMaster's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Informatica, Ab Initio, Visual Studio (VS) Code, Toad, SQL Developer, Cognos, and WinSCP to manage software advisory and implementation services for clients in the Healthcare, Banking, or Social Media industries;
- Managing all phases of project delivery in Waterfall and Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies for designing, developing, testing, and implementing strategic and business critical initiatives, using Informatica PowerCenter, Extract Transfer Load (ETL), SQL Developer, and Unix for enterprise-level clients;
- Supervising teams focused on the data analytics and data engineering aspect of engagements;
- Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, MS Project Plan, MS Visio, MS SharePoint, and Google Docs;
- Utilizing Informatica PowerCenter, Data Transformation, Python, SQL, Scripting, and Dashboards to manage the design and development of project solutions;
- Managing Unit, Integration, System, and Performance Testing, utilizing Jira, HP Quality Center (QC), and ServiceNow to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
- Reviewing codes and providing recommendations for solution implementation, utilizing Mercurial tool, peer review, and synchronous and asynchronous code review methods;
- Managing project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks, utilizing MS SharePoint, Quip, and Google Docs.
