Position SummaryThe EPG Strategic Account Manager will manage a team that provides sales, administrative, application, project management, and field engineering support for a very large strategic customer. This customer purchases a high-volume of unique and custom packages in the electric power space that incorporate a high degree of technical complexity and business risk.
Position Duties/Responsibilities- Manage overall customer relationship by establishing effective communication channels with multiple levels, continually monitoring customer expectations and satisfaction
- Understand all customer business objectives, KPIs, and milestones and establish associated reporting and feedback mechanisms
- Continuously assess processes and procedures and look for efficiencies that match changing customer demands
- Manage relationships and set expectations of key third party partners and suppliers
- Demonstrate continuous follow-up behaviors until issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer
- Lead and direct inside sales, administration, and back-office duties such as estimating, issuing purchase orders, order tracking, inventory levels, cash flow AR/PR, etc.
- Lead field support personnel by directing resources for any engineering, application, installation, and commissioning issues with all Caterpillar and third party equipment provided by MacAllister
- Be the face of MacAllister for customer field issues by engaging relevant internal and external organizations and individuals
- Direct project management functions such as meeting equipment submittal timelines and approvals, equipment production tracking and delivery, contractor coordination, site off-loading and rigging, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the execution and interpretation of policies and for the successful operation of assigned units. Has authority for hiring and disciplining employees.
Position RequirementsRequired:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, marketing, or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of sales in a strategic program management function
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with corporate quality and procurement functions in complex and demanding supply chains
Preferred:
- Large/Strategic account management experience is preferred
- Experience in a supervisory role
- 5 or more years of experience in a sales function providing custom solutions to customers in the construction industry or similar
- Engine and power systems service operations management experience

- Occasional day and overnight travel required. A valid driver's license is required.
