- Be an early member of the Sales team: As one of the first members of team, you'll build the foundation of Sales for years to come.
- Dive into a huge opportunity: We've seen crazy traction in the last year with the Pocus product and have barely scratched the surface.
- Learn more in 1 week at Pocus than 1 year at another company: We do more with less - we're able to ship what other teams with 10x of the resources do in 1/10th of the time. We've had a lot of awesome accomplishments, but still have so much left to do.

What you'll do- Do sales:
- Build meaningful relationships with customer facing teams at PLG companies
- Develop warm outbound strategies to identify and create opportunities across our target accounts
- Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for mid-market and enterprise companies, including discovery, demonstrations, proofs of concept, negotiation, and closing
- Become a Pocus and PLS expert - and leverage that knowledge to help and advise prospects
- Build sales
- Improve our sales process and playbooks
- Build sales collateral from scratch to support the sales process
- Be the voice of the prospect: Collaborate with product to inform roadmap decisions, marketing to inform positioning and messaging, and help post-sales to create a smooth handoff and consistent customer journey

As an ideal candidate, you have:
- 4+ years of experience in a new business quota carrying role at a B2B SaaS company
- Proven capability to own and exceed $1M+ in quota while closing $100K+ deals
- Enterprise software selling experience - specifically selling through internal champions, aligning to executive level initiatives, and multi-threading across functions and levels to drive alignment and overcome blockers
- Expertise in at least one part of the sales process (e.g. prospecting, discovery, negotiation, multi-threading)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and attention to detail in all forms (docs, emails, Slack messages, Powerpoint presentations) and at all levels (from AE to CRO)
- Excitement to build the foundations of sales at an early stage and rapidly growing startup
- Nice to have:
- You've built sales playbooks or processes
- Experience selling to customer-facing teams (AEs, SDRs, CSMs, AMs) and executives in that space (CRO, VP of Sales)
- Passion for Pocus and the category of Product-Led Sales
- Passion for data products and especially the potential for products to unlock new capabilities by empowering non-technical users with data
