DescriptionThe Account Manager will work under the direction of the VP of Sales to drive and achieve goals by leading and advancing the sales cycle. This position will contribute to the development of a viable sales plan for the assigned territory, Ability to communicate complex healthcare information to potential clients and develop/manage relationships to reach business goals. All job functions will be done independently with minimal needed supervision.
Essential Functions- Serve as a subject matter expert of the TIHP plans while maintaining all current product certifications and appropriate licensure.
- Serve as a liaison for the Health Plan in a designated territory via (group) or individual education opportunities
- Develop new forums to educate eligible consumers about the TIHP plan
- Conduct presentations, sales activities, and other informational events in accordance with current approved communication and marketing programs and state/federal regulations
- Participate in planning and implementation of outreach strategies and programs in conjunction with clinical and Provider Relations staff
- Travel throughout assigned territory to provide education about TIHP to promote enrollment
- Responsible for member enrollment and achieving a defined minimum number of monthly new member enrollment through solid execution of the following:
- Lead Generation and lead management
- Presentation of the TIHP program
- Overcoming sales objections
- Facilitating completion of enrollment application
- Ensuring member enrollment is completed
- Execute basic administrative duties as defined by the Sales Lead, including detailed management of appropriate reporting / database systems, funnel management, customer information, territory planning, etc.
- Maintain a working knowledge of plan benefit, program changes and industry insights
- Conduct presentations with provided approved CMS material to interested parties and conduct enrollments
- Update CRM daily to update leads
- Follow all rules and regulations set up CMS and TIHP's policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with Regency's TIHP liaisons through ongoing communication and education.
- Participate in weekly/monthly calls to report MTD results and projections
QualificationsEducation, Training, and Licensing Requirement- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years successful sales and marketing experience in healthcare or health insurance (preferably with seniors)
- Experience in nursing home environment
- Valid state health insurance license and product certification required (or retain within 60 days of hire)
Experience Requirements - Experience creating, facilitating and presenting to stakeholders in-person,
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Lead Management Software (Salesforce)
