Job Overview:
Juniper Networks is seeking an experienced Security Sales Director to lead and drive the growth of enterprise accounts across the Americas. In this influential role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding customer relationships, understanding, and leveraging the business dynamics of both the clients and Juniper. This position demands a strategic focus, with the Sales Director crafting and implementing comprehensive growth strategies, aligning them with Juniper's business goals, and collaborating with internal and external resources to bring these strategies to fruition.
Candidate Background:
- 8 years+ developing and implementing comprehensive security sales strategies for enterprise accounts across the Americas. Establish Juniper as a leader in network security solutions by understanding and capitalizing on market trends and customer needs.
- Forge strong relationships with enterprise-level executive security clients (CISO, CISO-1), advocating for Juniper’s security solutions. Understand and address the unique security challenges and requirements of each client, positioning Juniper as a trusted advisor and partner in their security strategy.
- Build and lead a team of security sales professionals. Focus on talent acquisition and development, ensuring the team has the expertise and skills necessary to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional client service.
- Drive the sales process from prospecting to deal closure. Focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets, while ensuring the delivery of security solutions that align with client needs and Juniper's capabilities.
- Work closely with Juniper’s product, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product development and marketing initiatives. Ensure a unified approach to the market, leveraging internal expertise and resources.
- Continuously analyze the cybersecurity market landscape. Identify emerging trends, potential threats, and opportunities to expand Juniper’s presence and influence in the network security sector.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop and tailor security solutions that address specific client needs and challenges. Ensure that Juniper’s security offerings are cutting-edge, relevant, and competitive.
- Lead sophisticated deal negotiations, employing a strategic approach to win new business and grow existing accounts. Utilize a deep understanding of the security market to structure deals that are beneficial to both Juniper and its clients.
- Must have industry knowledge of Cisco, ARISTA, HP, Palo Alto Networks and Juniper product portfolios.
- Must have experience using Salesforce.com, helping sellers to build 6 months & 9 month pipelines
- Prior success, skills, and experience in leading a region that produces > $100M in annual product, services and solutions revenue.
- Exceptional customer facing/listening skills and the ability to coach the same within the team.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing a successful go-to market plan and multiyear (three year) business/sales plan.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including listening, written and public speaking
- Must have clear understanding of industry selling methodology; MEDDICC

Minimum Salary: $267,520.00
Maximum Salary:$384,560.00
The pay range for this position is expected to be between $267,520.00 and $384,560.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
