Position Overview:
Trimble Summer Internship Program is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on work experience in our innovative company. This intern position will work alongside Transportation Sales Ops employees to tackle meaningful projects and gain valuable skills in their chosen field. During our summer internship program, interns will have access to multiple tools our teams use to be efficient and supportive to executing sales efforts.
The Sales Operations Intern will have the opportunity to work cross functionally with many departments such as Sales, Product, Professional Services, Business Systems, Finance as well as other business units. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to try a variety of areas in business to determine areas of interest for future career opportunities. Specifically, this is an opportunity to understand what a career in sales and revenue operations entails.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Salesforce order review and approval
- Order processing
- Salesforce testing
- Weekly audits
- Contract research
- Assist with Business Systems projects such as:
- CPQ configuration
- Salesforce Case Queue
- Engagement in sales cycle and updates in Salesforce
- Clean up of historical data
- Work on Contract Lifecycle Management tool
- Entitlement management and licensing system
- Assist with order tracking - annual version upgrades
- Assist in processing quotes to orders
Recommended Skills & Experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior at an accredited college or university studying Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with Google Workspace; Microsoft Office Suite
- Quick learner and able to work independently as well as in a team setting, with and without direct supervision
- Analytical, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Salesforce Experience a plus
- NetSuite experience a plus
