A specialized P&C insurance broker is seeking an Assistant Account Manager in Torrance, CA. This position offers onsite for the first 90 days and a hybrid structure after! This position will be responsible for assisting the account manager with day-to-day duties and ensuring that all procedures are being followed and documented. Pay Range: $65, 000 - $80, 000 DOE
Responsibilities:- Assist in managing and overseeing a portfolio of small accounts under the guidance of a Senior Account Manager
- Process insurance transactions including ordering loss runs, issuing certificates, processing endorsements, and preparing renewal and marketing files
- Utilize systems such as Applied Tam or EPIC, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and accuracy
- Engage in continuous learning and training under the mentorship of experienced account managers
Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance
- Proven ability to manage small accounts independently
- Must possess an active insurance license
- Preferred candidates will have insurance designations such as CISR or CIC
- Experience with Applied Tam or EPIC highly desirable
- Must be extremely organized, tech-savvy, and adept at following procedures in a paperless environment
