Account Manager to join our growing sales team. ClearDATA is the first and most comprehensive provider of healthcare-specific managed cloud, compliance, and defense services in the public cloud. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in quota-bearing roles, with a proven track record of engaging customers early and often to drive success. In your role, you will accelerate ClearDATA's growth by selling differentiated cloud-based tech-enabled services across your existing customer territory, ensuring customer retention, and identifying and closing sales opportunities within the healthcare IT market. This position is a critical part of our larger sales organization and requires sales expertise, technical aptitude, and the ability to engage effectively with IT departments. You will leverage market intelligence resources, customer events, product specialists, and your professional network to develop new relationships and close business with high-value pursuit clients.
What You'll Do:- Collaborate with customers to understand their evolving needs and align our solutions to meet those needs.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize account revenue.
- Forecast accurately and adhere to professional sales hygiene.
- Align the ClearDATA solution set to your customer's business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Communicate our value and differentiation, and build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Develop and implement customer retention strategies to minimize churn.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the territory.
- Work closely with the clients to develop and present compelling proposals.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring timely and successful deal closures.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of revenue for your territory.
- Accurately forecast business on a weekly cadence.
- Accurately qualify opportunities based on MEDDPICC (or similar).
- Effectively partner with the deal desk to ensure proper contract management and execution.
- Leverage Marketing capabilities and relationships to drive demand in your territory.
- Develop a deep understanding of our healthcare IT software and services.
- Be able to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You'll Need:- Prior sales experience in a similar, quota-bearing role selling complex solutions, preferably within the healthcare IT or cloud IT industry.
- Experience selling to IT departments and understanding their decision-making processes.
- Strong technical aptitude to understand how technology products and solutions can effectively address and solve business problems.
- Knowledge of the entire sales cycle and a strong ability to adhere to a structured sales process.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to plan and prioritize important tasks and work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong written communication, and oral presentation skills.
- Possesses a competitive attitude and strong work ethic and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, and matrixed organizational environment
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
