Job Description: We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development. The Vice President of Business Development's primary focus will be to strategically position Cydecor to grow revenue in collateral and adjacent market spaces. This task will require the VP to understand and leverage the capabilities, past performance, and qualification of Cydecor across each of its business unit portfolios of work. Together with the BD Team, the VP will build and manage strategic pursuit campaign plans to capture new business, ensuring alignment of capabilities to the strategic vision of the CEO and Executive leadership, with specific focus on DoD software development and cloud opportunities.
Responsibilities Include: - Expansion of unweighted pipeline by adding quality new potential opportunities to the Forecast
- Timely ushering of forecasted opportunities through the pipeline to identified phase
- Execute call plans, Teaming Negotiations and capabilities screenings through capture/proposal processes to include full Shipley process with documented AARs
- Responsible for timely adoption of identified opportunities by unit leads to qualified phase
- Facilitate pipeline mechanic metrics and requirements by moving opportunities through gates on prescribed timelines
- Dedicate cycles to support recompete opportunities to ensure retention of business and customers in the Cydecor portfolio
Here's what you need: - 10 years experience in business development and customer engagement efforts
- Experience in the pursuit of new work outside existing areas of capabilities
- Experience selling directly to the Government
Security Clearance: - Ability to obtain DoD Clearance
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Communications, or a relevant Business or Liberal Arts discipline
