As a Technical Account Manager with AWC you play a crucial role in ensuring the successful integration and ongoing support of Industrial Automation solutions for clients. You will work with our sales team and customers to understand their applications and discuss how technology can be implemented for improvement. Your goal is to build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships while driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. The successful candidate must be innovative, passionate, and resourceful while demonstrating technical skills.

The Job- Responsible for Capitol Project Sales within our OEM and EPC Customer base
- Define and execute EPC & project specific sales strategies
- Work as a consultant to specify solutions around our native scope of supply
- Pool resources and team members to out know, out care, and out serve
- Provide technical presentations and training
- Create a presence as a trusted resource
- Actively qualify, prioritize, and develop project opportunities
About YOUIn a Technical Account Manager career with AWC you will work directly with our technology partners and develop a deep understanding of their products. While working with our teams you will learn how our account management teams help users define requirements, how our engineering teams leverage agile design and development methods to create greater value faster, and how our project teams execute to deliver as promised, on time and within budget. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, customer relationship management and project coordination. This role will focus on Capital Projects in the Greater Houston Industrial market and has a secondary focus on Skid Fabricators.
Basic qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial distribution
- Demonstrate an understanding of various project phases and execution
- Ability to develop opportunities
- Challenge the status quo to position a better solution
- Proactively seek solutions to better serve customers
- Ability to Travel (10%)
- Be responsible for quality in all facets of customer relations
- Ability to think critically in complex technical environments
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Desire to participate as part of a team
Preferred qualifications- BS Degree in Engineering (ME or EE preferred)
- Documented experience in EPC technical sales
- Solid understanding of Skid Fabrication standards and codes
- Certification in Project Management or relevant technical certifications
