Sales Engineer will promote the sale of Amada Tooling and accessories. Support and maintain current tooling business to Amada customers, as well as penetrate and sell tooling to Amada accounts who buy from competitors tooling. Successfully utilize product knowledge to sufficiently make judgments involving engineering and product application to persuade potential buyers of the practical value of the product(s). Prepares tooling quotes and support existing Amada machine users. Will travel between Ohio and Pennsylvania.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Makes sales calls to established customers.
- Provides status reports and call reports to Manager.
- Quote and processes tooling quotes.
- Keeps informed of product knowledge and pricing information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Prepare special reports, as needed.
- Assist in miscellaneous duties within the department
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:KNOWLEDGE:- Engineering degree in a related field and/or equivalent sales experience.
SKILLS:- Computer knowledge (word processing and spreadsheets).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) for use in Sales Presentations.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), detailed-oriented.
TRAVEL:SALARY: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
