About The Role:Working under minimal direction, support the sales team with a focus on generating sales through cold calling and driving business growth.
Play an active role in the client engagement process by gathering information, generating sales activity and conducting outreach to create sales opportunities for the Electric Vehicles (EV) team with existing and prospective clients.
What You'll Do:- Prospecting and outreach through programs working in collaboration with marketing and subject matter experts to generate new clients and expand sales.
- Assist and track business development efforts through the use of CRM software's including Salesforce.
- Research pursuits to aid management in business planning and strategy development.
- Support other subject matter experts with various business pursuit projects.
- Assist with due diligence and competitive analyses for new business pursuits including research, analytics, data mining, and data collection.
What You'll Need:- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
- Prior business development, commercial real estate, consulting, research, client development, and/or marketing experience highly desired.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to respond to inquiries effectively and efficiently from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills, in-depth knowledge of financial/accounting terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures.
- Experience with financial modeling and asset valuations. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents such as complex and lengthy RFP documents.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills preferred. Experience working with large data sets and able to decipher multiple types of RFP models is a plus.
- Proficient use of Salesforce or other CRM, highly desired.
